Hi i have had mantis on my Iphone for a while, but only recently properly examined it, and I have to say im blown away by it!. It seems to be as powerful as desktop software which is remarkable and does everything I need it to, sadly it will take time to build a resource library through :)

I will be using it for sermon prep, great that I can begin to do these things on the road in a more powerful way (which is why I love the global notes feature), work full time, got a baby on the way, family to run, youth work to do..... and start uni for ministry training this September lol, so streamlining my time is pretty important, and the more I can do on the move the bettwe. So this app is fantastic, with time I can build a great library and do a LOT of study on the move.

So thanks for a great programme, will make a great difference to my study time :)

I agree Mantis is as powerful as any desktop programs. The good news is that in the future Mantis plans on releasing a full desktop version as well.

I have slowly added to my library over the last two years and use Mantis as my go to for all sermon prep now. It's worth the money and the price per volume is still under what it would cost to by the in print ed.

I use Mantis on my iPhone and it looks great on my iPad.

Enjoy!

We are making progress on the desktop version of Mantis and hope to release an early alpha test release very soon now. If you happen to be running on Mac OSX and would like to get in on the first testing group, please email support.

We'll be supporting Mac OSX, Windows, and Linux, but the very first test wave will appear for OSX.

I have a mac, ill send an email

Its great you are supporting all those platforms, for one person is it not a lot of work?. One question I have is who types up the books, cause if you do all that on top of coding etc - wow v busy, perk is that you will be a theology expert lol.

By the way I looked through the CWS walkthrough, what an amazing implementation of that, done so well it is a must have, I look forward to using it in the future.

It depends on the resource, but in general, we receive electronic text from the publisher, then we must convert that text into a format that our program can use.
