I am new to Mantis Software. I am comparing it to just a simple ESV Study Bible. I am using the Ipad. There are so many things to like about the Mantis Software. There are a lot of features and that is what I am looking for. However, I am not exactly sure how expansive the hilighting feature is supposed to be. I REALLY want to hilight more than one verse and "save" those verse somewhere that I can review them later. Does hilighting do this in some capacity or is it exclusively visual? I do not see a way to filter to my hilighted verses. Is there a way that I can see all of my hilighted verses collective and grouped?

Another way I could do this is by bookmarking but as I see it, I can only bookmark one verse at a time. Please let me know your thoughts on this matter and how hilighting should be uses vs. bookmarking, with the real question being "how do I save multiple verses from the same chapter for review later?"

Regards,

Stefan

At this time, there's no way to get a list of all the places where you have highlighted a volume. You could, though, highlight a passage, then create a bookmark at the first verse of the passage.

Highlighting in Mantis is very granular, and that's why we don't provide a way to show every highlighted verse. For example, you can highlight just a single word in a verse. Or you can highlight 3 words or phrases in one verse, all in different colors.

I think the feature you're really looking for is the ability to have more flexible bookmarks (to bookmark just part of a verse, or multiple verses in one "block".) We're working on this for a future version of Mantis.
