How does this work and if can, how do you change colors?

Admittedly, this is a first-generation pass at color sets, so it's not as easy yet as we'd like it to be.

Basically, though, you go the color sets page, tap "Edit" then create a new color set and give it a name. You can then change the colors for the different items, save the set, then select the new set.

Color can be chosen from a set of given choices, OR you can use regular "web" colors using hex digits like #FFFFFF for white or #000000 for black. To get a list of colors, just Google for hex colors -- there are many tools available.

A future version will make color sets very easy to work with.

And what exactly does this do? What does the color change affect?
There are so many new switches in 4.2, but they are of no value if we don't know exactly what they affect.

Is there a manual that we can download or some other kind of referance material as to how the features work?

Color sets control the colors of the reader screen (text color, background color, etc.)
