Chapter only references are not correctly resolved. For example, if "John 3" is tapped in a note, John 1:3, not John 3:1, is displayed.

Please report this to our support department, including the exact location you found this example, so we can reproduce it and fix it. Thanks!

I reported this issue for 4.8.4 (posted here 6/10) and the response was that it had been there for a long time and was to be fixed in a future release. This same issue appears in 4.9.0. I don't have 4.9.1 yet. Maybe it is fixed in 4.9.1. The John example I posted above has the problem as do a number of other random book/chapter pairs I created in a global note.

This is not a problem related to any release of Mantis. This problem is specific to the volume(s), and can be resolved in a volume update.

If you report the specific places you found these references and the volumes you found them in to support, we can fix these. This kind of thing can appear in certain volumes, but not others.

It happens in KJV (the only volume I have). It happens with every chapter in Luke. The chapter references Luke 1, Luke 2 ... Luke 24, expand to the verses for Luke 1:1, Luke 1:2, Luke 1:3 ... Luke 1:24. The same happens for Matthew chapters 1-25 which produce Matthew 1:1-25. Matthew 26,27,28 expand to null verses since Matthew 1 has only 25 verses. I suspect this issue applies to any book/chapter pair verse reference for KJV from the random samples I have tried.

Oops, I'm sorry. I misunderstood this. You're talking about personal notes and not the volumes themselves. Ah, I'll report this one.

Thank you. I now understand the confusion. I should have been clearer in my original post and specified personal notes. Sorry.

My confusion was because there are "notes" or publisher's note and "notes, personal notes. Both can have scripture references. This can get confusing!
