I love this app and use it everyday, however, it's quite slow. Anytime, I change screens, for anything, it takes a bit for the process. Is this because I'm using an unlocked iPhone (G3)?

Once example is going to a new book, chapter, and verse. the first screen that appears is the original location, then the new chapter verse one, and then the verse within that new chapter, and two seconds between each of these screens.

The 3GS is about twice as fast (and sometimes faster) than the 3G, but I don't think it should take that long between screens on the 3G. You may try rebooting your phone and see if that helps any. (Hold down the top button and the home button and keep holding both buttons until the Apple logo appears, then release both buttons.)
