It appears that a transcription of the Geneva Bible Notes that has been floating around on the internet for several years was used for Mantis Bible. There are several places where the transcriber held a different view replaced the note in the Geneva Bible with his one agreeable to his own theology. (At least he flagged these alterations with a parenthetical "Ed." I'll get out my facsimile copy of the 1599 Geneva Bible and follow up in an e-mail with the original text for these notes.
