Why is that the NKJV cannot access the study tools of the NIV or even the cross references of the NIV bundle of the Iphone?

The cross references are integrated into the NIV text by the publisher. But you can use them while in the NKJV. Just tap the verse number, then tap the [NIV] link, then tap the cross references.
