After purchasing an iPad air last year.....I have been unable to load my Bible Study Notes on to it.
The backed up notes are in the notes editor online.....I made a copy of them from the old iPad and saved them.
Then I did a "test" backup on the new iPad just to make it show up on the list of available devices...and it DID show up after doing that.
Then.....I copied the saved notes into the editor online and saved them. The same notes I had in the old iPad....with all the brackets and such that are needed.

Now is where the problem begins......when I select "Restore" on the new iPad in order to download these notes onto my new iPad.....nothing shows up to select.
I select Restore....then a prompt appears asking me to select the backup I wish to restore.....and there's nothing on the list to select.
It's in the editor online....and it has been saved.....but for some reason.....even after waiting several minutes.....that backup does not appear on the list of available backups to restore on the new iPad.

Guess what?
Even though NO available backups are listed in the restore window on my new iPad.....when you select "Restore"....it downloaded the file I had placed online in the notes editor anyway.
Isn't there supposed to be a listing of available backups in that restore window to choose from?
It was blank and worked anyway.

Now that I've figured out that the notes are not labeled when you restore......I'm getting an error when I try to erase the OLD notes and replace them with new notes (Bible studies and sermons).

Here is the error message:
Error: {brackets} do not match. File cannot be saved.

It does not appear to want to let me erase the old notes.....and merges the old with the new.....and I'm getting duplicates of some studies.

How can you erase the old and replace it with new?
