Dropbox or iCloud note storage

Sorry if this has been asked before, but a search didn't find anything.

Are there any plans to add in Dropbox or iCloud note storage/sync? It would make it so much easier for me to be able to get hold of my notes and modify/add to them if I could edit them on my mac/pc without having to convert and then download via your website all the time. Any changes then have to be uploaded via the reverse process. Dropbox appears as a folder on my machine and all syncing of changed files is carried out in the background.

Just a thought.

PC Version Wanted

I have used another app for years that allows me to sync my highlights, notes, etc. between devices including my PC. Unfortunately this app only uses one version of the Bible. I really like Mantis, but I miss bringing up my Bible software on my PC screen when I wish to study at the office. When I'm really studying rather than reading, I actually prefer my PC. Please create a PC version for us! Thanks,

What about a Mac version of Mantis Bible?

You have a great program and building a significant library of resources.

A Mac version would do well for study at the "home base" with the larger screen real estate. Also with sharing and syncing of notes and bookmarks, it would serve as a backup for these from the iPhone/iPod Touch.

Wouldn't most of the back-end port quickly with just the UI portion requiring significant development?

I would love to see an option to select a verse or passage to be displayed using the new widget feature. That would make it easy to meditate on it all day long.

Android Notes Editing Functionality

Since it appears, that functionally, none of the Editing features work correctly (if at all) on the Android app, perhaps NEW file hierarchy and editing functionality could enabled on the Android app.

Eventhough it is a flat file, could we have an editor that works ... or perhaps access to an actual editable file on the Android phone.

Request for more highlight colors, please!

I would really find it helpful to have more choices of colors to choose from. Even one more but I don't know why you couldn't add several. Here are some suggestions. Light grey, light orange, light purple, light brown.

Add more highlighting/marking

Mantis is my Bible app of choice. It is the one I recommend to others. There is one thing, however, that would really be of help in using it - increase the number of colors and/or means for marking words. Five colors is very limiting. Logos Bible, for example has nine highlight colors, fourteen emphasis markup options, etc. to highlight words. Can you increase the color options and add other mark up options also?

quick highlight

I like and use the highlight feature often. At times a highlight only a portion of a verse, but often I highlight an entire verse. Would it be possible to add a quick highlight feature in the verse menu (the one that pops up when you tap the verse number) that would highlight the entire verse in a specified default highlight color from within the settings menu? This is not a "make or break" feature for me as I use Mantis Bible daily and love it. It would be a nice convenience, though.

Color Set shortcut

I often switch between the default color set and night reading mode. Is it possible to add a shortcut to the toolbar to make this more accessible? Perhaps giving the user the option to customize the toolbar under the tools menu and/or making the toolbar left/right scrollable would make this work?

Split Screen

I teach with Czech interpreters. A split screen would be marvelous. Both could read the text in our own language.
I am aware of the ability to open another version below the original text, but split screen would be an improvement.

This one is probably asking too much. I used to use my PC for my study until I found Mantis for my phone. Now I find myself doing most of my study there. I had to start fresh with bookmarks, highlighting, and notes. Now my PC has some of my work and my phone has some of that plus other work that I haven't duplicated on my PC.

I love Mantis for my phone, but the PC has its place too, especially if doing a bit of typing with topical notes. The PC screen can be seen better if sharing a study with others. The PC could also hook up to a projector or printer. It would be a wonderful thing if there was a compatible program for the PC, whether the PC program was done by Mantis or by someone else. The programs wouldn't have to, or be able to, act the same way. But the important thing is that they could share and sync bookmarks, highlighting, and notes; perhaps automatically every time the program is booted. Perhaps they could sync from the backup area, or perhaps through a WiFi connection.

Thank you for the hard work you guys go through to deliver this software to us. One small request, would you please allow changing the book titles from English to (Russian in my case). It's very confusing to read foreign Bible and have English book titles.

Hi, please consider adding the SIZE of the download to the " more info". This will impact if I use my precious 3G connection which is faster but not unlimited vs. waiting until I have a slower but free wifi connection. Had an issue trying to download my MHC purchase over 3G. I did not realize the file was HUGH. After using over 50 mb of my precious data your app crashed and it took me back to zero! I then had to drive to a free wifi location and the download stalled or produced an error after 3 attempts over 30 mins!! I finally gave up. Will need to try again over my faster 3G when my data plan renews. Pretty frustrating. There is NO reason why you can't post the SIZE of these files.:(

Copy Verse

Have you considered adding an icon for "Copy Verse?"
I think a 1-touch copy verse option would very useful and much easier than defining a range of text.

The copy verse icon could be added to the other icons (e.g. Mark, Analyze, Note, eMail) or perhaps the icons could be customized like BYOSB.
