I edited my note with the editor and after I restored my iphone I lost all my notes. No matter how many times I restore my notes They're not there, but when I checked the editor a few minutes ago they're still visible in the editor. How do I fix this?

Did you read the top of the notes editor page? There's a big red block of text that reads:

NOTICE: The online notes editor is current under construction. Do not save your notes with this tool at this time, as you won't be able to restore your notes on your device. We will remove this message once the online notes editor changes are complete. Thanks.

No problem, though -- just use the contact us page or email support directly. They'll be able to fix your backup file so you can restore your notes properly.

So, I notice the Notes Editor no longer says, under construction in red. I've got a pile of notes from my Palm BibleReader that I'd like to transfer, and it'd be a whole lot faster to use my PC.

Are back to "relatively safe" now? :-)

Yes -- it is safe to save your notes in the online notes editor. That's working great.

There IS a bug, though, when restoring notes to the device that contain an apostrophe. (I think it's when you do a "Merge Notes"). I'm not positive if this problem is in 4.4.0 or it was just something with our beta version. I do know this problem is fixed in the 4.5.0 we sent to Apple last week for review.

My advice is to put your notes into the online editor and use that, but keep a backup copy of the text file you create on your computer -- just in case.

Be aware that we have a new notes format in the online editor - you'll see it if you go there. It allows for folders and global notes and such.
