Great idea, to have the phone play back my volumes audibly. Everything is reported to be up-to-date with my Mantis files and on my 3GS iPhone. After doing a hard reset, checking multiple volulmes (books, Bible versions, dictionaries, commentaries, etc.), I am unable to hear either voice. Volume is maxed (I've varied it, just in case), and the screen does an automatic advance as thought the voice is playing. What shall I do to fix? Thanks! --Don |

Addendum: I have purchased and installed both voices: Heather & Laura. These are the "both" of the previous post.:P |

Of course....! Duh. The hardware speaker on/off switch was set to silent (vibrate, in my case). It works with the speaker switch ON. Usually, my other audio apps (iHeartRadio, Sticher, to name a couple) do NOT require the switch to be ON. They play through the phone speaker, whether the switch is ON or OFF. (Maybe an idea for a future update?) Thanks, Mark! |

We "respect" the state of the vibrate switch, because we believe, if you tell your phone to be quiet, it should. (Much like children :) |

Could I get that feature installed on my children? I didn't see it on your website. We can skip the vibrate setting though, they have enough kinetic energy. |

I have no problem getting the audible playback for scripture, but when I try this for commentaries the application exits most of the time. |

This feature is designed to work with any installed Mantis volume. However, we've seen that there is a problem with very long chapters in some specific volumes. We are researching this problem and hope to provide an update for it in an upcoming version. |
