Hi folks,

Thanks for the hot corners/quick navigation feature, but I was wondering if in an update it might be possible for the gray corners to only appear when those regions of the screen are tapped on. I'll confess I find them visually distracting.

Thanks!

3.1.0, which was uploaded to Apple over the past weekend, has an option to turn them off completely.  The regions are still active, though, so you can still use the scrollers, you just don't get the "triangles".

Are there plans for the lower corners? I saw a thread on easier highlighting, a thought being to double tap to start highlighting. I could imagine the lower right corner for toggling highlighting on and off and the left corner for turning strongs on and off.

In 4.0.0, we continue using the corners counter-clockwise.  So:

Upper Right, drag down = verse chooser
Upper Left, drag down = chapter chooser
Lower Left, drag up = book chooser
Lower Right, drag up = volume chooser (KJV, NASB, etc.)

This completes a consistent interface that will work the same way... even, say, in a full-screen mode (hint, hint.)

We have other plans for toggling highlighting and strongs numbers... just not quite yet.

Sounds good. I read that the settings screen will update faster in the new version. That would decrease the importance of another way of toggling the highlighting and Strongs.

A full screen mode sounds good. The hot corners take away the need of the version, book, chapter, and verse selection tools at the top. I'm sure you have ideas on how to bring up the highlight bar and the bottom toolbar in full screen mode. A thought is to have it so that if you turn the unit horizontally, that a vertical highlight bar would appear on the left side and the bottom toolbar could display vertically on the right side. That would still leave a need for a way to get to the settings button. Perhaps if there would be a way to toggle the highlight bar off, a settings button could appear in its place. And while the highlight bar is toggled off, it would be nice to be able to select a word, phrase, or strongs number to initiate a search on it.
