The first look up screen is A through Z
The second and third screens are numeral
Can they be changed to something that would help, like A - Z

Or is there a different way to use it?

If you view it in "table" mode and not "grid" mode, you will see the letter first, such as "A", then the next page will show ranges of words, such as "Abandoned - Accident" (which would be similar to looking at the top of the page of a dictionary) then the next page shows the actual entries, one entry per line, so you can get to any word you want quite easily. You can also use Search to find a word directly.
