I was looking at the KJV with strongs and then the KJV Concordance.

How would having both these study tools be a benefit vs. just one of them since it appears that the concordance is separate from the translation/bible group, it appears under dictionaries. It seems like it has some great features such as showing how many times a word appears in the bible or book etc, but the Strongs appears to be integrated so you can use it while you're reading, vs. having to switch to dictionaries to look something up.

Also along with this, if I were to purchase the KJV red letter bible & the KJV with Strongs from what it looks like I would have to switch versions if I wanted red letters & then I wouldn't be able to use the Strongs - Correct me if I'm wrong.

Will there be a way to incorporate all of these as a single version with settings options? (This should probably be in the request features section I guess :-D )

Thanks,

Great question. The KJC (KJV Concordance) is a good tool, it's very different from the KJVS. It is basically a strongs dictionary with King James word usage information. It shows the Hebrew or Greek word (written in Hebrew or Greek), how many times the word was translated into a different KJV word, and where. So I look at G2635 and see katalaleo occurs 9 times in the KJV, as "evil" 4 times, 3 of those times in James 4:11 and once in 1 Peter 3:16, etc, etc, etc.

In our 3.1 software, you have to look up each strongs number from a list, and it can be cumbersome.

With 4.0, though, if you have the KJVS installed, and you tap on a word to see its strong defintion, if the KJC is also installed, there's a [KJC] link to get you to that info instantly (in-line, of course.) So they really work well together

The KJVS itself has the complete strongs dictionary built in, plus a [Find] link that shows where that strongs number is used throughout scripture. Also if TGD and/or BDB are installed, those become links as well.

You can see all this in action (in 4.0) if you go to Support / Video Tutorials and watch the NASS video. (KJVS works the same way.)

The KJVS has red lettering, so there is no reason to buy the KJVR if you have that one.

Yes, like I said, it's all integrated in 4.0. Go watch the NASS video, and pretend you're seeing the King James text. The strongs definitions in the KJVS are a bit longer and more detailed than in the NASS, and the NASS has a [Usage] button that's not in the KJVS, but if you get the KJC, you'd get the same effect using that.
