Ok, so I've spent about $150 on bibles and commentaries. So I'm disappointed
that it has to download everything every time I open Mantis. Am I missing something, or is this a known bug that a fix is being worked on?

This is not a known bug, in the sense that we have not experienced this in testing. However, there has been one other report of this happening, but so far we haven't been able to figure out what's wrong with that particular iPad.

It would be very helpful if you could email support and give us as many details about your configuration as possible. Thanks!

Mine does this, too. I downloaded the free version. Even before I entered my username, it would say "Installing files. Please be patient..." every time I started it. It displays KJV text, but if I go to my bookshelf it says that KVJ is ready to be downloaded. After I entered my username, my other purchased versions showed up as being available to download. I downloaded them. The next time I started the app, it went back to telling me that everything I had already downloaded was ready to be downloaded. (And, it still gives me the "installing files" stuff at startup.)

I have a 64GB, non-3G iPad, software version 3.2 (7B367). 16.4GB free.

Please try to delete the app and reinstall it. If you continue to have this problem, please email support so we can troubleshoot with you directly.

I am having the same problem of having to download the NIV that I purchased over and over. Are you suggesting to dwelt it completely from our apps in iTunes and the reinstall? Just scared you will not recognize that I already paid for the version and have to pay for it again.

Just information: as long as it's registered and not on more than 2 Registered devices, it's worked every time for me! I just told a friend " trust me, do it"! They did and it worked. If something goes wrong, I know support would make it right. This company goes out of their way to do great things.
I have 28 items on mine and you will find the search engine is the best, to find things. Do use wild card. Type in " Angels of * " WOW!!! Mine takes 35 seconds and 972 hits in bibles, comm., my notes, dict. and books. Now go figure out which Angel was actually Jesus.
