Is there documentation? A .pdf or other? I'm very comfortable with the product, but I don't know what makes the borders come up with chapter or other numbers.. what is that feature about?

The triangle corners are simply guides to help you remember where to tap and drag in order to use the "quick scrollers". Quick scrollers work like this:

Tap in the top right corner and drag down: verse scroller

Tap in the top left corner and drag down: chapter scroller

Tap in the lower left corner and drag up: book scroller

Tap in the lower right and drag up: volume scroller

The "triangle" guides can be turned off under Tools, Options, and the 4 scrollers will still work. In addition, the individual 4 scrollers can be toggled on or off under Tools, Options, and can be toggled independently in regular screen mode and full-screen mode. This means you could turn off the scrollers in regular mode, but still keep them on in full-screen mode.

We do not have a printed tutorial, but there are a series of tutorial videos on this web site under Support / Video Tutorials.

Thank you. That has puzzled me for some time.

Is there a way I can type the book, chapter, verse rather than having to click.. for example, simply type John 3:16".

Great product, thanks.

If you go to the search screen and switch to "Basic Search" mode, then you can type a reference into the search box and the app will take you directly there.

burggraf - thanks, but it didn't help. I typed in "luke 19" and it returned "no results" - I typed in "luke 19:1" and it returned no results. And I still can't find the chapter index (I just downloaded the app today).

You must be in the "Basic Search" screen for this to work. You can either turn on basic search under the "Tools, Options" menu, or, when in the search screen, tap the button at the bottom that says "Basic Search Mode".

If you have already run a search in Advanced Mode, you may need to press "Clear" first to get the "Basic Search Mode" button to appear.
