I am planning to buy an iPad2 when it arrives Friday. Will I have to buy again all my Bibles, commentaries and dictionaries?

Nope. Just load the free version of Mantis on your iPad, then go into Tools, Options, User Name and put in your user name from MantisBible.com along with your password. All your purchased items will show up as "Ready to Download" automatically.

Another question, are the Mantis apps optimised for the larger display?

At this time, Mantis does take advantage of the full iPad display, yes. However it does not offer any device-specific features, so the app works the same on the iPad, only it works much better since the screen is so much bigger.
