Would it be possible to add an "Introduction" section ahead of Genesis (like the chapter 0 in MAC) with explanations of the protocols used throughout that translation?

For instance NASS uses different fonts for purposes that are not completely clear, and the protocols used in the Mantis versions are not always consistent with those used in the original hard copies. Also an explanation of the Strong's abbreviations would be very helpful (otherwise I my have to actually dig out my hard copy of Strong's).

Usually we only do this when this type of information is provided by the publisher. It's possible that we can add extra information like this, but we'll need a good source for the information.

I have a "First Edition" version of the NAS and it has a whole section in the beginning that says why they did the translation, how they handled the words for God, and how they represent Old Testament quotes (in small caps).

In the NASS Mat 24:29 the OT quote is in small caps, but in v.30 the OT quote appears to be in large caps. Is this a program anomaly or does it mean something?

With the Strong's references, what do the + signs represent? Sometimes there are more than one. Have I missed a list somewhere of the abbreviations used?

This really is a fantastic program - I use it more than any other app on my iPhone.

We format LORD as it comes from the publisher, and I believe that LORD in small caps is the word for the proper name of God in Hebrew.

The [+] signs represent words that appear in the original language but were not translated into an English word. ("Extra" words, I like to call them.)

We're really happy that you're using the iPhone more to study the Bible than for anything else. :)
