After moving some bookmarks around a couple nights ago (still in ver 3.1.0), I suddenly keep losing all my books and commentaries- they are gone! The read pane shows the current chapter and the next chapter but no text, and the bookmarks are gone (it usually crashes when I press the bookmark button), but the notes and history are still there. I've rebooted several times with no change. I have the bookmarks and notes backed up, but now I can't even get into the program. Help!

Further to my previous post, I completely removed the program then reloaded it. All of my books and commentaries were ready to download except my favorite - The MacArthur Study Notes. How do I get that back?

Besides that, I seem to have duplicated the crash (although I imagine it's moot since ver.4 is almost out) When I delete a bookmark and try to remark it in a nested bookmark folder, it says it still wants to delete the bookmark, and when I press the delete button, all the text disappears.

After reloading the app, you should always perform a "Check for Updates" / "Get Updates". That will load the latest list of Bibles and Books. Then it will show up.

Well, that did the trick, although it take quite a while for the MacArthur Study Notes to show up. As an aside, when will we get the final release of these notes, with the book introductions and the interpretive challenges?

One positive thing that happened from all this was that before I deleted and reinstalled the app, the Strongs word setting didn't work and now it does - it's much less distracting than all those numbers.

It looks like deleting a bookmark and then trying to bookmark it again is what was causing the problem - I trust that's fixed in the elusive ver.4.

This sounds like the problem that I was having a few months ago. I discovered that the problem seemed to be caused by having an apostrophe in a bookmark folder name. In my case, I think the problem showed when I moved a bookmark to a subfolder of the folder with the apostrophe in the name. If you have an apostrophe in any folder name, try removing the apostrophe.
