Mark;

Got this weird situation where the NETP starting showing weird characters in some verses "&u05E1", and, "&u05B9;119:113" in Psalm 119:112&113...

So... I decided to re-install the NETP from within Mantis, BUT after re-installing the whole Mantis MSG edition program (4.0) - it crashed repeatedly!!!

SO... I decide to delete the app and go to the iTunes App store and re-install it just to get billed AGAIN!!! The store didn't flag me about this app already been purchased or nothing! SO there goes $17.99 again...

I realize Mantis can't control the ITunes App Store side, but this situation with the Mantis crashing needs to go...

Thanks,
Felix

Hi Felix,

First off, you should NOT be charged again by the App Store when you download something you've already purchased. I have done this many times with items I have already purchased, and it's always said "you have already purchased this, do you want to download it again?" If you were charged more than once for the MSG 4.0 version from Apple, please contact them and let them know. You should not have to pay.

You should not be experiencing repeated crashes -- this sounds like a corrupt installation, and the usual solution to this is either to reboot the phone (hold down the top and home buttons until you see the Apple logo appear, then release) or to delete the app and re-install. Contact Apple first, though, to make sure you're not going to get billed again!

Now, the &u05E1 business -- that's our problem and something we can usually fix quite easily. When you see that sort of thing -- please contact us via the support email address. We're very happy to see those reports, because it helps us fix things.

Mark - thanks for the quick response, again!

The purchase buffoonery was my bad - I have two accounts, didn't notice my login ;o(

The crashing thing, I did re-boot the iPhone twice to no avail... then re-installed again with the buffoonery on the purchase...

App is doing fine now, same funky codes...

We'll need to do another release of the NETP to fix the codes. Email anything like that you find to the support address and we'll add it to the list of fixes.

Glad it's not crashing anymore for you.
