I am very frustrated with the new version. It prompt me to download new version for all my bibles and books. when i click on it. the words came out preparing for download and i waited and waited for hours and nothing happens . I am sure i am connected by wireless as i can visite youtube and other websites. I am also lost all my notes and bookmarks. Each time new version came out , it is buggy. why ? can you guys do some preventive measure before using us as guinea pigs ?

We do extensive testing on each version, and have many beta testers download and give feedback. That doesn't mean things are perfect, though, and bugs will come up for sure.

If you're having trouble downloading, the first thing to try is to exit the app and come back in and try again. That usually works. If not, verify that you can reach our web site by using Safari on the phone and visiting https://MantisBible.com. You might be having a net connection problem.

You should not lose any notes and bookmarks when upgrading to a newer version, but we always recommend using the "Backup" button inside the notes or bookmark screen before upgrading. This backs up your notes, bookmarks, and highlights to our server.

before I posted the message. I had done all the homework that are needed. I do not like to waste your time and my time to solve a trivial problem. I am able to access your website and login. So I know it is not a network problem but your server problem with my application mantis. could u provide another way to download the bible using pc then itunes then sync back ? that is much better than using my wireless.

I wish it was possible, but Apple doesn't provide a way for us to deliver content to the app through iTunes.

If you contine to have problems downloading please use the Contact Us page to talk with us and we'll be happy to help diagnose your problem one-on-one. We really want to help you get everything installed.

I am using my wireless to write this message with my iPod to prove that my wireless is working fine and able to login to mantis website. I am still not able to install the kjv - I got a blue message saying that it is preparing to install and waited and waited and nothing is installed I am living in singapore and there is a 13hour time zone difference I do not know how are you going to help me. When I tried to dowload if there a log file to say that I tried to dowload at certain time and could you monitor the download to trace the error

The best way to get support is just to use the "Contact Us" page or to email support directly. It's much faster and more direct.

The KJV version doesn't need to be installed -- it comes with every version of Mantis. If you're having a problem with it, you can just delete the whole app and install it again -- KJV will be there automatically.

I dare not deleted the mantis bible study as i can still access other bibles and books excepte downloading the KJV. If i deleted the software I may end up with no more downloads for the other books. now each time i see the wording ready to download kjv new version in red color. When i tap it it changed to blue color preparing to download then it will last till eternity doing nothing.

Here's what you need to do to solve the downloading of the KJV: Just "purchase" the KJV from our web site (https://MantisBible.com). It's free -- you just need to go through the purchase process so the server thinks you've purchased it and then it will allow you to download it.

As we said in our earlier reply:
"The best way to get support is just to use the "Contact Us" page or to email support directly. It's much faster and more direct."

This message board is for general, public discussion, and isn't meant as a place to get individual problems resolved. That is, we can't guarantee who will be checking the boards and how often.

We're very vigilant about answering support emails, though.
