I just found a bug in the inline notes editor.
In the normal editor there are no problems (a part from some links that need to be inserted several times before being displays as links).
But if the inline note editor is used then all accented characters get lost and replaced by gibberish characters.
Moreover every time the text is edited, these characters will duplicate.

We'll watch for this as we update the online notes editor. It will be undergoing a major overhaul next month.

Maybe I did not understand your answer: the bug is not in the online editor, but in the inline editor - the one that was added in 4.2 and that gives you the possibility to write notes straight into the main text.
