It would be great to be able to launch Mantis using a custom URL scheme. I use a second app for managing my reading plan, which I have customized to my own personal needs. If I could include an URL in my daily reading reminders that would open Mantis to the selected passage, it would be that much easier. Currently I use bookmarks to keep my place, but I am often reading in as many as 10 or 12 different books at once, and removing and resetting bookmarks as I read can get a little tedious.

A good example of what I mean is used by the Facebook app. If I have an URL in another app of the form fb://profile, clicking that link opens the Facebook app and takes me to my profile. Maybe Mantis could use something of the form mantis://...

I am not an iOS developer, but I found a page relating to the topic of custom application URLs at http://iphonedevelopertips.com/cocoa/launching-your-own-application-via-a-custom-url-scheme.html. It seems like it should be fairly easy to set up a custom URL scheme. What may be difficult would be opening the app to the indicated passage.

Many regards for a great Bible study application.

This feature was implemented shortly after the request was made. Remote launching with mantis:// really does the trick for me. It has taken me too long to say it, but Thank You!.
