I'm easily distracted.

Currently, my preferred method of reading the bible is with as few typographic intrusions as possible. I have yet to find a program with this feature, so i've had to write a python script to parse BibleGateway queries.

It would be great if Mantis had a Settings toggle to hide all the blue text. Sort of a "Novel Mode" with only paragraph breaks and punctuation added. This would temporarily make some 'study features' inaccessible, but when in novel mode, the priority would be on uninterupted continuity rather than jumping about. (It would probably be asking too much to drop chapter breaks, although on my own i've found this to be necessary for most of the letters)

Thanks for considering this feature.

So far, in our 2.0 version, we've already added the ablity to toggle off strongs numbers and translation notes.  The verse numbers still appear.

During the development cycle, we had a version that offered the ability to turn off notes as well, but we removed that option, knowing that it would bring way too much confusion for people.

We will consider a "stripped down reading mode" as you suggested for future versions, though.

I agree  -  It would be very usefull to have a feature that can hide and restore the top and bottom toolbars to maximise the text area on the iPhone screen.
