How about double clicking on a word and if a dictionary is loaded, it automaticially open the dictionary and find the word clicked on.

This feature is included in the 4.0 "Analyze Verse / Define" screen. Just tap a verse number, select "Analyze Verse", then choose the "Define" tab. Tapping any word will look up that word in any and all installed dictionaries. Hopefully we'll see 4.0 released any day now!
