Greetings
Mantis is my favorite iPhone Bible reader, but I have a couple of thoughts that might make the interface even better.
When I press the version button to select a Bible, I think it would be better if a "favorites page" was the default screen to appear.
That page could be customized to include the Bibles, Commentaries or Dictionaries that the user selects. The page would be editable.
At the present time, the Bible page seems cluttered to me and it seems unnecessary to have to go to other screens to access commentaries or dictionaries.
Why not have a separate screen for "Check for updates" and/or "Ready for Download?" They really don't have to appear every time I want to select a different Bible version.
I also think "back/forward buttons" would be great on the "Read Screen." We can now change the Bible chapter by tapping on the chapter number or by a swipe down the page. Therefore the arrows already on the top of the page could easily be converted to a back/forward function without losing anything.
Anyway, these are my thoughts.
Thanks so much for such a fantastic program.
