Would it be possible to rearrange the list of the versions/commentaries?
The main reason for it would be in the "analyze verse" feature: right now the translations are there always in the same order. Even if it is true that you can hide the ones you are not interested at the moment. That's still an extra line cluttering the screen...

My guess is that it should be possible to do it by deleting and re-downloading the bibles, but that's quite cumbersome.
Could you make a screen like the book chooser where you can move around the icons of the bibles in the preferred order?

That's on our list (the ability to re-arrange the volume list(s)). When we end up doing that, we'll probably carry the saved arrangement from the bookshelf to the Analyze Verse screen.
