In the same way we can edit our Notes, would it be possible to add the ability to view and edit our Bookmarks & Highlights in our Desktop Browser?

Bookmarks, definitely. Highlights, I don't know.

I'm not sure that Highlights is the best way to do this, but it occurred to me that Bookmarks aren't always ideal in the way they are listed. For instance, I recently bookmarked 2 Cor 10: 5. The main thought I like, of course, is Paul's ugring us to keep our thoughts captive to Christ.
However, it wanted to really bookmark the phrase or thought that Paul has that augments the idea of keeping our thoughts captive to Christ by putting in in the context of the motive---because we are waging a supernatural war -- and that is really 2 Cor 10 3-5 (at least that's the general thought I wanted to bookmark). So, I either have to bookmark 2 Cor 10:3 and highlight that through verse 5 or book mark 2 Cor 10:5 and remember (or highlight) 2 Cor 10:3-5.

It's not a huge thing, but it seems like it would be handy to be able to list the bookmarks not merely by a single verse but a verse range -- such as 2 Cor 10: 3 - 5.

Perhaps this can be done in conjunction with highlight feature. For instance, if I have 2 Cor 10:3 bookmarked, but I've highlighted it through verse 5, perhaps then the Bookmark could read "2 Cor. 3 - 5 on the bookmark page which would then help.

The main value here, in my mind, is that if I'm memorizing this stretch and then later come back to try to find it using my bookmarks, it's easier to recognize it if I see the range of verses.

This, by the way, makes me think of another thing I'd love to be able to do. When memorizing scripture it would be handy to be able to isolate only the verses I'm trying to memorize. It occurred to me I could do this by copying the verse into a note, but that's a lot of work. It would great if we could take a highlighted verse or verses and make just that section of verse come up in it's own to isolate just that and have the rest of the context to inadvertently scroll up or down to. That way we could focus on that verse or verses better while attempting to memorize it or perhaps, also, when sharing that verse with someone.

Anyway, I can see how these things might be more trouble than their worth, but I thought I'd suggest them. With your many thoughtful and excellent implementations already in Mantis, I figured you might be able to make something out of these ramblings.

Mantis is already a superior tool, so thank you very much for that!
