Hi mantis crew!

First of all, congrats for making the only viable and powerful bible reading and studying app for the iphone- 4.1.0 is really mature compared to older versions! Thank You for the enormous effort that goes into this project; it is highly appreciated.

I would like to see at the online store already how much space the addition would need on the device, please... I suppose this should be a rather easy feature to implement...;)

cheers, mat

Do you mean, how much space does each item take up on the iPhone or iPod Touch? We get this question periodically, but it's really a very minor issue and should not normally be considered unless your device is almost full already.

Most Bibles take between 10MB and 30MB of space. The smallest iPhone or iPod Touch holds about 8000MB of space, so you can do the math here. Even the very largest items such as Gill or Calvin, take up a little over 100MB. So if you had 10 Bible translations and 10 commentaries loaded up, it'd take about 400MB or so. If you had an 8GB iPhone (the smallest) that'd be 5% of the total space available used up.

Point taken- on the other hand for mobile users- especially those purchasing through the in-app store might really get annoyed loading Calvin over 3G on their phones... but You're right, that's a rather small issue, given the fact that You need to get that desktop backend out (heeehehee)

We will probably add this in a round-about way. (We'll probably show the size of each resource as we're downloading it as soon as we re-visit the download process.)
