July 26, 2010 - Ironside New Testament Commentaries (IRNT) now available
For the first time ever in a single, complete set, Mantis Bible Company has released 20 Commentary Volumes by H.A. Ironside covering the complete New Testament from Matthew to Revelation.
Henry (Harry Allen) Ironside (1876-1951) was an American Bible teacher, pastor, and author. He authored more than 60 volumes as well as many pamphlets and articles on Bible subjects. For 18 of his 50 years of ministry, he was pastor of the Moody Memorial Church in Chicago.

July 20, 2010 - Apple releases 4.8.8
Watch for the 4.8.8 update in the next 24 hours or so. This version fixes a large number of minor bugs we've found, plus it adds a new ability to set the margins around the text in the reader screen (mostly for adjusting the "look" of things on the iPad.)
July 19, 2010 - MAC (MacArthur Study Notes) Updated
We have released a free update to the MAC module. If you have previously purchased this title, please run "Check for Updates", then delete the MAC module from the "Commentaries" section of your bookshelf, then download it again to get the latest version. This new version has some great supplementary material, including a complete topical index.
July 7, 2010 - Apple releases 4.8.7
We've fixed some more bugs found related to iOS4, made some cosmetic improvements, and added expandable verse links to personal notes that are found by the "Advanced Search" module.

June 23, 2010 - Apple releases 4.8.5
Today Apple released version 4.8.5 of Mantis Bible Study. This release, sent to Apple last week, fixes a number of bugs related to the iOS4 release. More bugs have been found since this version was sent to Apple, however, so a 4.8.6 release should be on its way to Apple in the next 24 to 48 hours that fixes the newly discovered bugs.
June 8, 2010 - Apple releases 4.8.4
Apple has released the 4.8.4 (free) version of Mantis Bible Study....This version is identical to 4.8.3, and is simply a replacement for the 4.8.3 version that was corrupt in the App Store. This version fixes about 20 different issues listed here.

December 7, 2009 - Apple releases Mantis Bible Study 4.6.0 (the free edition.) You should see this appear as an update in the "App Store" icon on your device within the next 24 to 48 hours. As always, we recommend you back up bookmarks and notes prior to upgrading.
In addition, Apple has also approved the lastest round of in-app purchase items, so the NLT (New Living Translation), Hymns, Moody Handbook of Theology, Thomas Constable, and the new Reina Valera releases should now all be available for in-app purchase.
November 30, 2009 - Apple releases 14 versions of Mantis Bible Study 4.6.0. While the free version has still not been updated from 4.4.0, Apple today released 4.6.0 for 14 other editions of Mantis. We have removed the free 4.5.0 free version of Mantis still pending approval and replaced it with the 4.6.0 version. Hopefully soon, Apple will resolve this issue and all versions of Mantis will be at 4.6.0.

October 16, 2009 - Mantis Bible Study 4.5.0 has been sent to Apple and is now awaiting approval. This update contains many bug fixes and performance enhancements. All In-App-Purchases are still awaiting Apple's approval as well, but as of yesterday, Apple is allowing In-App-Purchases from free apps. This means that when our items pass Apple's review, you will be able to purchase them from inside the Mantis app, regardless of whether you're running the free version of Mantis or a paid version.
