MacArthur and Pillar New Testament Commentary Series Indexes Now Available
If you've purchased one or more volumes in the MNTC MacArthur New Testament Commentary Series or in the PNTC Pillar New Testament Commentary Series, you may have noticed that these volumes do not work with the BYOSB (Build Your Own Study Bible) feature of Mantis. Well, now they do! Simply "purchase" the related index resource (they are free) to put it on your account. Run "Check for Updates", then download the index. You'll get a [MNTC] or [PNTC] link, showing primary and secondary links to all your related volumes.

Mantis Bible Study 4.9.15 Released
This version fixes a small bug with the "Allow Rotation" setting and also fixes certain products that were not compatible with the "Buy Now" in-app-purchase system.
Holman Christian Standard w/Strongs Numbers Now Available
Mantis Bible Study now has a new member of the "Strongs-Based-Bibles" family -- The Holman Christian Standard Bible. This deluxe version has over 38,000 cross-reference and footnote entries, strongs numbers, plus complete integrated Greek and Hebrew Strongs Dictionaries. Of course you get the full arsenal of Mantis' Strongs Tools, such as TITO® Tap-In-Tap-Out Strongs Number Definitions, drill-down [Find] links, automatic integration with Brown Driver Briggs' and Thayers, plus more.

Mantis Bible Study 4.9.14 Released
Apple has released version 4.9.14, which fixes the highlighter bug in the previous release. Please upgrade to this version when you see it available.
Mantis Bible Study 4.9.13 Released
Analyze Verse now supports landscape.
Searching for words with certain characters no longer crashes.
Text in a note following an ampersand will no longer truncate.
Highlighting will remember the last color selected when changing volumes.
Analyze Verse Returns (Version 4.9.11 Released)
As you may already know, the Analyze Verse feature was incompatible with iOS 5, and this feature was removed from the first releases of Mantis for iOS 5. Today, Apple released our 4.9.11 update, which brings Analyze Verse back. Thanks for your patience!
Version 4.9.10 Released
Apple has approved version 4.9.10 of the free version of Mantis Bible Study, which fixes the following bugs under iOS 5:

Tap-and-hold Find
Tap-and-hold Define / Dict
NOTICE: iOS 5 contains it's own "Define" option that links to a built-in dictionary. To look up the selected word in any installed Bible Dictionaries you've purchased from Mantis, tap the right arrow icon and select the new "Dict" option.

Tap-and-hold, select a word, then select "Define" to view the built-in iOS 5 dictionary entry for that word.

Here is the built-in iOS 5 dictionary entry for "Jerusalem".

Tap-and-hold, tap the right arrow, then select "Dict" to view the selected word in any installed Bible Dictinoaries (sold separately.)

Here we see links for the "Jerusalem" entry in several installed Bible Dictionaries. Dictionaries that don't have an entry for the selected word are grayed out.

Analyze Verse will be fixed and operational again in 4.9.11, currently undergoing final testing. We expect to send this version to Apple for approval within the next few days. ** UPDATE ** We have already sent 4.9.11 to Apple. It is currently awaiting Apple's approval.
Apple releases remaining versions of Mantis Bible Study 4.9.9
If you are running one of the "branded" versions of Mantis under iOS 5, and are experiencing difficulties, you should be able to update now. Tap the "App Store" icon and look under "Updates" for the Mantis Bible Study 4.9.9 update.
