Getting Updates...

To receive any of these updates, you will need to delete the volume from your device and download it again:

  1. Go to the bookshelf screen (the screen where you see the list of Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries, or Books).
     
  2. Find the installed item you wish to update.
     
  3. Swipe your finger over that item, and tap the red "Delete" button that appears to delete the volume from your device.
     
  4. The volume should now appear under "Ready to Download".  Tap it to begin downloading the updated version from our server.

Note:  you will not receive these updates by clicking on "Check for Updates" / "Get Updates".  That process loads updates to the list of available volumes (resources) and loads updates to certain internal files that store information about each volume.

This page lists updates made to existing Mantis Bible Study resources (also called "volumes".)  A volume can be a Bible translation, such as the NIV, NKJV, etc., a commentary such as MHC or CALV, or any other type of Mantis Bible Study resource.

We continually work at improving our resources, and when an update is completed, we'll post a notification here.

25 Non-English Bibles Updated - Tuesday, March 09, 2010

The following Non-English Bibles have been updated and indexed for searching.  Searching will work immediately on these new volumes, but only for words that do not contain non-English characters.  Any words which do not contain only English letters A-Z or a-z cannot be searched yet.

Version 4.7.1 of Mantis Bible Study (currently undergoing testing) will fix this problem and allow all of these volumes to be searched completely.

Fixed issue with small-caps fonts causing portions of a chapter to have a much smaller font than intended.  Also fixed problem with extraneous italic text in Mark 10:33-52.  Also fixed some words that did not appear in red in the middle of a red-letter passage.
