I created a folder for my personal notes and have around 200 notes in there. While reading a Bible translation, I noticed that my notes were not appearing next to verses that I know I have notes for. If I go to Notes, open my personal notes folder, scroll to the bottom of the notes list and then click "Download Remaining Notes", my notes will again show up next to the verses.

Do I really need to do this every time I want to see my notes in later verses of the Bible (i.e., New Testament notes). Seems like my notes should always show up without me having to download them every time.

I could very well have some preference set that is causing this but I haven't changed the default settings. Am I missing something?

I'm running the latest version (4.6.0) of Mantis Bible Study.

This sounds like a bug, so we will investigate it. Any notes in the currently selected folder are supposed to show up, regardless of how many notes in the folder.

Are you sure the correct folder is selected before you begin reading?

I double checked to make sure the appropriate notes folder was selected. However, most of the notes still didn't show up next to their verses until I went back and clicked "Download Remaining Notes".

I moved all of my notes out of the sub-folder and into the root folder and now they seem to work fine. I agree with you...it sounds like it might be a bug with notes in sub-folders.
