It's been quite while since you've added any new titles. Are you holding off for some reason? Perhaps waiting for the release of Android and/or desktop versions?

We actually do have some new titles coming out next week. But our resources have been put on some new versions coming out (more so than content development) for the last month or so. We have recently released an alpha test version of the Mantis Desktop Mac OSX version and hope to release a test version for Windows next week.) We're also working on an Android version and an iPad-specific version.

With the license we already have for iPod be transferrable or count for using Mantis on our Android device?

I have purchased a number of bibles that I use on the iPod, but would LOVE to just have them on my Android 2.1 mobile device... only have to carry one device then.

You should be able to use the same items purchased for iPhone/iPod/iPad on other devices once these other versions are released.

We're closer on the Windows (desktop) version than Android, but we are working on both of them.

A lot of people are waiting on both the Windows and Android versions. I've moved from the iPhone to to a Droid X. A lot of people I know have switched also. Android phones as a whole seem to be outselling the iPhone now, Mantis is the best bible software period and I can't wait to have it on my desktop and Android. The iPhone is in the drawer now (along with Mantis) so I hope the new offerings are debuting soon.

The Mac and Android versions share some of the same code, so as Android progresses, so does the Mac version. We're aiming for wide beta releases on both of these some time this fall.

Android is not outselling the iPhone. That was a funny post. Maybe someday but not today. Lol

Glad to see Mantis coming to the other platforms though. Mantis is great.

"Android is not outselling the iPhone." Uh...well -- http://gigaom.com/2010/08/02/android-sales-overtake-iphone-in-the-u-s/

It's been predicted for some time and it's an easy prediction. Like with Macs in the 80's and 90's -- you have one manufacturer: Apple -- against a growing number of other manufacturers. Even with Apple's head start, it's likely inevitable that Apple's market share will ultimately be superseded to Android's as more and more manufacturers jump on the relatively open bandwagon and more and more manufacturers prey on Apple's weaknesses (price, support, features and eventually probably even apps). Apple really helped itself when they stopped barring third party app tools, but it still has a lot of strikes against it that the competition can and is leveraging. Six months ago it was hard to see anyone catching up with Apple, now it seems like it's only a matter of time.

Can you link us to these test versions if available? I can't seem to locate them on the site.
