Downloading purchased translations to new device

I recently upgraded to an iPhone 4. I have been unable to download bible translations which I had purchased for my iPhone 3g.

When you download Mantis Bible Study to a new device, you need to "register" that device with your MantisBible.com user name in order for your purchases to appear as "Ready for Download". To do this:

1. Install the free version of Mantis Bible Study
2. Run the Mantis app
3. Tap Tools, Options, User Name
4. Type in your user name from MantisBible.com (and your password)
5. Tap DONE at the top of the screen

Now all your past purchases will show up as "Ready to Download".

I have an iPad. I put in the username and password in the Options section and it is stored in there. But the bible won't appear in the ready to download area. Do I have to spend another $20 to buy the Bible again?

No, you do not. First, try rebooting the iPad. (Hold down the top button and the home button and keep holding both buttons until the Apple logo appears, then release both buttons.)

If your purchases don't show up after you run Mantis again, then you may need to email support and we'll look up your account see what's going on for you.

I emailed support and they flipped some tech switch and it worked out for me.

Is there no way for you guys to fix this? I now have a new iPhone 4s and have to email support again.

I also have a new iPhone 4S. I deleted the HCSB app and reinstalled. I was then able to download all my purchased commentaries and books. Also restored personal notes fro the server. However, when I click on a verse to view or to add/ edit notes etc. nothing appears but the link to the commentaries and these don't do anything, which is the problem I had to begin with. This seems to suggest the software does not work (yet!) with iOS5. Any suggestions or do I just need to be patient waiting for a fix?

This is fixed in 4.9.8, which was released by Apple earlier this week.

Greetings!
I upgraded to iPhone 4S and am not able to connect to previous purchase from Mantis. I have registered my phone; then i Deleted the app and re-downloaded it and re-registered it, still nothing. Can you help??!!

You should email support. You may have gone over the limit of 4 devices on an account and we can simply reset your account for you.

Simply put your MantisBible.com user name into your new device under Tools, Options, User Name. If you have a problem, email support and we'll help you out.

I had Mantis my iPad but it was stolen. I now have a new iPad and have reinstalled Mantis on it. But because the Mantis app is open on the stolen iPad my new iPad will not open the Mantis app. I know your usage rules do not allow more than one iPad to operate the Mantis app at a time, but in this case what can be done so I can open the Mantis app on my new iPad?:crying:

I have tried everything that I have found in the support and nothing works. I have even tried to email support but every time I send the email I get a message in my in box that says not delivered. So I thought I'll pace something of the forum and I'll get an answer, nothing.
