Hi,
I thought of an interesting study and navigation method for you to consider. I know the subheadings are not part of the original biblical text (but likewise for chapter and verse assignments). However, it would be useful to have a Table of Contents/Navigation that is based on the subheadings used in the current translation. I guess I would envision it something like collapsing a MS Word document down by heading style into a hypertext ToC. As a study tool, this would help a person learn the contents of each book by the various subjects, or to help navigate to a section of a book, if you can't (yet) remember the exact chapter and verse.
I think usually (always?) the subheadings appear in the navigator when the list style (vs matrix style) picker is used...this would be an alternative that inverts it so that it is by subheading (and maybe with the chapter(s)/verses that comprise that subject below it).

Thanks,
CJ

Interestingly, this is already in the design/development queue and has been for some time. I'm not sure how quickly it will make it to the top priority, but we've had this planned for a long time now.

I second this. Subheadings are an incredibly effective way of becoming familiar with the contents of the books of the Bible. They are good for getting a "big picture" of each of the Gospels and Acts and especially for memorizing the topics covered in the Epistles. I am glad to hear this has been under consideration and hope to someday use it.
