Is there any chance that the new ESV Study Bible will be made available in the near future?  The notes are great.

Also, would it be possible to provide access directly to the NET Bible notes from the ESV; i.e. without having to load the NET Bible first?

Thanks so much for a great program.

We're looking into the ESV Study Bible, and I'm confident we'll have it -- I just don't know what "near future" means.  My guess is some time in January.

As far as sharing notes between the Net Bible and the ESV... I'll have to look into that.

Will the ESV Study Bible include the actual ESV bible or just add notes etc to the current ESV?  I am looking to get the ESV from Mantis but don't want to buy it twice.  I was hoping you would come out with the ESV Study Bible as I have really enjoyed my print copy.  Keep up the great work!

I agree with everyone here.. The ESV Study Bible is simply amazing.  I've emailed Crossway and forwarded the message onto the guys at Mantis... Crossway has already ported over their study bible to the Olive Tree (http://www.olivetree.com/) program, but I would MUCH rather use Mantis for bible study.

Wouldn't it be great if Crossway would allow people who bought the print edition to use a code and get a free or greatly reduced signal-license digital edition?

As for buying the ESV version twice, that is what I am wondering.  My most preferred translation is the ESV and would rather wait than buy it twice, not to mention buying it in print...

Our general policy has been to provide a coupon code for upgrading to a newer version.  For example, we've done this for people who bought the NASB and want to upgrade to the NASS.

Hi there,

is there an update that Mantis can share about the availability of the ESV study bible? It would be a great addition to an impressive line up.

At this time, the publisher isn't granting any new licenses to it. We keep asking them to reconsider, though.

If they ever grant the licenses for the ESV study I would buy the upgrade code from Mantis for sure.
