Would it ever be possible to have an option to change background color to a "texture" like an old scroll or papyrus? Something to defuse the ultra white now used. Or even have several backgrounds to make the words "pop" more than black and white? I hope I explained that well enough. Thanks!

We'll consider this, but I'm not sure how practical that would be due to the number of different pieces to our color scheme(s). We have regular text, translator's notes, personal notes, strongs definitions, cross reference text, etc, etc. and it gets very complicated quite quickly. A background may make it difficult to see everything clearly, but we'll investigate...

I would also like this.
I do find the display color on the OliverTree biblereader program to be easier on my eyes. They have some of the same color schemes as you mentioned and it works better for me over there.
But Mantis has won me over on the other things. :):)
