I have NASB (without strongs), GWHS (Greek Westtcott-Hort w/Strongs) and VINE installed on Mantis 4.9.4 (latest as of 2nd Feb 2011) on iPhone 4 (running iOS 4.2.1 8C148).

In the current iteration of the software it appears very difficult to get the VINE definition of a word. Here are two examples of how hard it is and how I'd like it improved:

If I read Eph 2:10 in NASB and click 'Analyze' then 'Compare' I can see the passage in GWHS (with strongs), but if I press 'Define' I see the instruction 'Tap a word to view its definition.', but can only select words from the original (NASB) translation

I would like to search using any comparitive translation or strongs number in the verse.

If I read Eph 2:10 in NASB (no strongs) and click 'Analyze' then 'Define' I see the instruction 'Tap a word ro view its definition.'

So I tap the word 'εργοις' and no match is found in VINE.

I would like it to search using the strongs number G2041

You can accomplish this form inside the reader screen using tap-and-hold. Tap-and-hold on a word you want to look up (in any translation -- if you tap a verse number you can view any translation and tap and hold from there). After you've selected your word, tap More, then Define, then open the [VINE] link (or a link to any other dictionary you have installed.)

You cannot search VINE's on strongs numbers, as our copy of VINE's is indexed on English words and not strongs numbers. We may produce a strongs-indexed copy of VINE's in the future, though.
