I think it would be quite handy if it could be possible to add a verse in the History screen to an existing note (or to create a new note with the cross link).
The way I see it could be to select a verse (by tapping on the verse number?) and then go to the history screen and select one (or more) verses.

Or, as another command in the tap&hold: a "crosslink" button that will make appear a list of the recently visited verses. By tapping on them it, a new note would be added with the verse in it.
