Yes, they'll both be searchable. And yes, I think the Septuagint will have Strongs Numbers.

EDIT: The LXX also has parsing info in it.

Just to clarify -- the Septuagint we're working on (LXXS) is in Greek, has strongs numbers and parsing info. I hope this is what you're looking for.

Though I already have the HOTS... I guess it wouldn't make sense for people that have already purchased any of them to get the bundle, or not? (trying to find an excuse to get the Strongs-CrossReference now, instead of waiting for an eventual bundle...)

No English in the Septuagint?

No, it's a Greek translation of the Hebrew.

The Nicene Early Church Fathers was released today.

English?? The reason people want Septuaginta is that the Hebrew original is not always clear and this Greek translation comes from the 3rd century BC(E) and they had better understanding of the ancient world than we now have. And Greek is somewhat more similar to our modern languages than Hebrew...

BTW There are also different sources, as the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensis or Codex Leningradensis stem from the near-eastern Palestinian tradition, but the Septuaginta from the Alexandrian tradition. And there are more texts in Septuaginta, e. g. the Book of Daniel contains more details, some other books are added, e. g. The Psalms of Solomon, Macabeans III and IV etc.

A question: are there those other texts, or is it just the jewish canon?

I don't think the version we're working with has the extra books, just the 39 standard ones.

I have a ? About the NLT. I have been waiting for it for like 6-8 months now y'all by far have the best iPhone bible app but without new living it's pretty much worthless to me. Any word from publishers at all

We've been very frustrated by the lack of response from the NLT publisher thus far. It seemed we were very close to a deal with them, then we sat for months with no response. Then all of a sudden they were communicating again, then nothing again for months.

We continue to call them, email them, etc. but so far we're still waiting.

I could see why you guys would be frustrated. Man that's terrible. Prayerfully NLT gets with the program soon because it's getting rediculous
